On a peaceful Saturday afternoon, the women of our church community gathered for a heartwarming mini-retreat titled “The Desire,” hosted by the Community Teaching Center of Miami.

This special event, held exclusively for women, offered a sacred space to reflect, renew, and reconnect—with ourselves, with one another, and with the Divine.

The atmosphere was filled with joy and warmth as we shared stories, laughter, and delicious homemade dishes brought by attendees for a beautiful potluck. The simple act of gathering around the table reminded us of the power of sisterhood and sacred community.

Throughout the afternoon, we deepened our spiritual connection through:

• Guided meditations and moments of stillness
• Powerful decrees and prayer work
• Open sharing circles, where we exchanged heartfelt stories and personal insights
• Inspiring teachings from Elizabeth Clare Prophet on the purpose and spiritual meaning of desire
• Uplifting worship led by Reverend Carmen Bocanegra, guiding us deeper into the presence of the Holy Spirit

It was a time of nourishment on every level—body, mind, and soul. The retreat left us feeling uplifted, re-centered, and inspired to continue our path with renewed devotion and joy.

As always, this event was a reflection of the living flame of love and light within our community.
